SIDE STREET – BAR, KITCHEN & EVENT SPACE IN MANCHESTER
Side Street is a design-led bar, kitchen and multi-room event space in Manchester’s ABC Buildings. Made up of Side Bar, Side Store and Side Space, the venue brings together distinctive interiors, great food and drinks, and flexible spaces that can be hired individually or combined for events of up to 300 guests.
From brand activations and product launches to corporate events, private parties, networking and photoshoots, Side Street has the flexibility to work with everything from independent businesses and creative brands to larger companies looking for something a little different.
THREE DISTINCT SPACES
Each area of Side Street has its own character and can work independently or as part of a larger event.
Side Store offers a more relaxed setting with retro-inspired interiors and lounge seating, while Side Bar provides the energy of the main venue with a cocktail-led bar and capacity for up to 200 guests.
Tucked behind the main venue, Side Space is our dedicated private hire and events space for up to 100 guests. With its own entrance, direct bar access and flexible layout, it can be shaped around everything from brand activations and launches to private parties, presentations and networking events.
For larger events, the full venue can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Side Street is particularly suited to events that need more than a traditional function room. Flexible layouts, strong sound and lighting capabilities, a 100" screen in Side Space and opportunities for branding give businesses the freedom to make the venue feel like their own.

Side Store
Set at the entrance to Side Street, Side Store is a relaxed space with retro, mid-century interiors, warm ambient lighting and its own bar. Available for private hire, it’s ideal for welcome drinks, smaller gatherings and informal events, or as an arrival space before guests move through to the rest of the venue. With street-facing windows overlooking Spinningfields, it offers a more intimate setting with plenty of Side Street personality.

Side Bar
An exceptionally curated space, with hand selected mid-century furniture to create the perfect hang-out spot and stylish backdrop to your event. The space features a huge bar space to pour up signature cocktails, a DJ booth with decks to entertain guests and a concept kitchen from our friends at Tartuffe for unbeatable bites & plates.
